Using philosopher Gilles Deleuze’s concept of the Fold, where the universe is seen as an endless process of folding and unfolding, these artworks invite you to physically interact with abstraction. Just as the folds of a paper airplane change its flight, so too does the fold in a drawing shift our understanding of space, time, and perception. 

Thrust is Embodied as the power of our lives taking shape
Drag represents the Overlaps of time and experience
Lift becomes Tenacity—the courage to rise above challenges
Weight is the mystery of the Unknown, a twin to gravity that keeps us grounded. 

Each fold transforms the drawing, allowing you to experience art in motion, not as something static but as something that mirrors life’s dynamic, ever-changing nature. 

In the Embodied Flight: Folded Abstractions Kit, you will receive two archival laser prints of my original abstract drawings—one for practice and one for the final fold. Like flight itself, this work embodies the delicate balance of forces that propel us forward, both in life and in art.

You will also receive a Certificate of Authenticity. 

Lastly you will receive a  Project Document that explains the: Purpose, Directions, and Benefits of the project.
